8 sessions- Sundays 2-4pm March 14 - May 2
All skill levels welcome
This class will introduce basic Water Colour & Printmaking techniques as well as support more experienced artists in expanding their existing skills. From landscape to botanical and animal subjects native to the Salmon River Watershed, participants will visually engage and interpret the places and inhabitants of this special ecosystem.
As we develop our artistic skills we will atune ourselves to our subjects gaining deeper understandings of the physical structure of landscape plant and animal life.
In this time of intensified ecological awareness the arts are a wonderful tool in exploring and gaining a deeper appreciation of the natural world- join workshop facilitator Gabriel Deerman MFA in bridging art and ecology in a fun and creative atmosphere.
This workshop is co-presented by Salmon River Studios and Friend of the Salmon River.
